I didn't think he was bad actually thought the line was good.

But if you look at even strength time compared to others on his line Bickell played about 2 mins less.

The ineptitude in minutes 60-65 this year is baffling and worrisome. Don't care about the gimmick, but it'd be nice if they'd win a couple of these extra time games in OT.

Part of it I think was that there was so much special teams play. Five PP's apiece makes for only 40 minutes played at 5 on 5.

If you do the things you need to do, when you need to do them....

Then someday, you can do the things you want to do when you want to do them.

I'd prefer 5 on5, but 4 on 4 at least resembles real hockey as 4 on 4 happens regularly during the course of a game. 3 on 3, as some have suggested should be tried gets way too gimmicky for my tastes.

My ideal world would see regular season OT be 10 min of 5 on 5 with the long player change. If that doesn't settle it, it's a tie.
