On one hand, vermette is an excellent faceoff guy with defensive capabilities. He is also on pace for 30 goals and 51 points. However his point totals have only passed 50 twice and that was 4 and 6 years ago.

Gagner is about 7 years younger and has the ability to score 50-55 points, although he has yet to clip that.
