Indeed, when Booth is the only noticeable player on the ice.........it's depressing to say the least.

Still pumped for tonights game though, unfortunatly....

Booth's penalty shot was deadly accurate. NOBODY could have hit that logo any closer to the centre.

#Canucks recall centre Pascal Pelletier from Utica Comets. Pelletier has 39 points (9-30-39) in 39 games

Sounds like Higgins and Hank might be a no go for tonight?

- LeftCoaster

Hank still wasn't taking faceoffs...why even have him out there if he's not close to 100%? Seems stupid and desperate to me.

Now now be nice.

DOn't want to look like a fool if they get going tonight and run over the leafs in the last game before Phil and JVR leave.....

Boston is 21-6-2 at home this year, you I think you are right.

But if they pull this off they will win the next 2 IMO (including Saturday in Toronto)

If they lose tonight I think it is anyone's games.

- SgtSerge

Another bad loss tonight would be another nail in the coffin...Toronto would definitely have all the momentum and confidence heading into Sat.

Clarkson could. Assuming he'd even hit the net.

I have to agree, the more you play hurt the longer it takes, team needs to get ready for the playoffs..... wonder if Torts is scared about his job if they don't make it...

Saturday will be a gong show at HB between these 2 fanbases. All "class" gets thrown out the door.

Gillis would go before Torts. Gillis already used his "fire the coach" card.

I think MG would get the boot before Torts

Religious programming would be better at this point. Having said that, I will still be watching the Boston debacle tonight.
- Marwood

I'll watch until it gets outta hand, then it's back to regular programming

He's not a good fit for a rush team like the Leafs IMO. He'd fit better on a lot of teams in the West that like to cycle and grind it out for goals. Either way, his career point production was just not worth that money to any team.

Have to agree, when I lived in Vancouver I had a nucks fan attack me (think it was 05 or 06 when the leafs last won back to back against VanC, anyways, it was not a fun experience for me or him (his buddies looked like they would back him up but did not)

So I do think you speak the truth..

He must have thought the goalie was a bear? Hit him centre mass.

You'd change the channel? A blowout with BOS-VAN has all sorts of potential for some fun late in the game.

I was at cypress and only tuned in for the 3rd, brutes.

I was at home and didn't tune in for the 2nd game running. It's been oddly liberating I must say.

Yeah have to agree, but I think (not that I am GM quality) if you had a real 3rd line with say Clarkson, Bolland and Kuelimen, you would be able to play with the west, otherwise the west teams will just eat you up if you don't have a cycle line to battle with.

IMO.

Booth was the only one with any gas left because of all the benchings and healthy scratches. They can say all they want to the media about changing the personel of the team, but if they truly want to get the attention of the players, they need to start scratching members of the core group for their poor play (those who they aren't showcasing as trade bait, of course )

Been there done that, doesn't excite me anymore…maybe if we had some players that could throw em?

That would be a solid 3rd line, just not at their combined price tag.

David Pratt on The team right now is saying he's hearing Edler is going to Detroit in a trade and will likely be gone before the olympic break.

Not sure who his sources are. But I hope its true.

Nucker how on this planet did you manage to get Malkin, Ovechkin, Stamkos, Giroux, Letang, E Staal, and Corey Crawford in such a deep league?
