Henrik must be in a lot of pain. I mean, I havent seen a player avoid contact like that since we had Mason Raymond.

No, but with a Coyotes win tonight we could be pushed to 9th, 2pts ahead of Winnipeg

Not bad for a guy that is 5'8 - definitely a big man crush on Gallagher and what he brings

He goes into the corner against chara the same way he would against little Nathan gerbe. I've seen the kid plastered into the boards more than anyone.. ever. And he keeps getting up and doing it again

I dunno.

In the last 5 years we have seen the team through numerous nasty losing streaks and yet, follow it up with a bigger win streak. That has even occured this year, so I still have faith.

If it was a slump I would agree. I see this more as a downward trend. I just don't think we have the troops this year

Like many have said about the Flames, don't wait to long to start retooling or like the Flames it will be full on rebuild.

Nope plus I get to live in The most beautiful city in North America, Canucks are a side note to living hear and a bonus. Lots of injuries this year. They will be ok but need some retooling. I hope they miss the playoffs and change it up in the offseason, I am actually very excited

The guy is definitely a mini-dynamo, great hands, competitiveness, and completely fearless. It's crazy that he was right under the Canuck's noses (157th overall! I mean, they could have at least taken a flyer on him, for @#$ sakes ). It was definitely a steal for the Habs

Edit: It just underscores that in today's NHL, perseverance, grit, toughness can often come in a small package

Not really....I mean we can't win, but it could be worse. We could have Luke Schenn on our team.

Gotta hand it to that guy. Every time he comes on here and drops a troll comment everyone jumps at the bit to rebut.

They played some good hockey through the first couple months. Injuries happen and they'll just have to cope with it. Should we make the playoffs.......I really couldnt give a crap.

What I want to see is this years off season, Which will define whether the Canucks try to retool, or re build.

Regardless. I dont think Mike Gillis is the man for the job....... We need new blood at the top.

Well luckily the Canucks have some decent prospects in there system for once. Not sure who the Flames have prospect wise? But I dont think they're very deep. Monohans no longer considered a prospect imho. Backlund is struggling, Who else do you guys have?

I think management has realized it...much sooner than your Flames did.

I don't want multiple years of tanking, Oiler-style though. Make some creative trades to get younger and gain some future cap/trading flexibility.

The proof will be in action, not in words. Flames only really had a few tradeable vets (notably Iginla and Kipper) who could have been traded for younger assets. We've got a few more than that lined up. Let's see what comes of this new found epiphany.
