I haven't heard if GMMG has commented on any of Torts' statements, but guessing he would just say the team is presently hampered by injury and he is not going to be forced into any stupid trades.

What is funny is Torts is all about accountability but it is only accountability on the ice and not the front office.

Some of the guys Gillis targeted but missed out have been pretty promising(Backes, Tinordi, etc.) I think he's pretty hit and miss like most GM's.

Kinda think if you want a player to waive their ntc/nmc then tdl sounds like the best time to approach the player- chance to make a cup run. I don't like the idea of tanking the season to go for a high pick but I can't see how playing injured players and losing games helps the club- injured player takes longer to recover and aren't playing at 100% and not contributing enough to get wins. GMMG is only kidding himself.
