Obviously hoping for the best return but not expecting all that much. Between Snow getting zero respect around the league and the position he is trading from I'm expecting a weak return unless a real bidding war starts.

trading him before friday probably wont cause a bidding war. Rolling the dice and waiting after olympics hopign he doesnt get banged up and with teams having a better handle on who is healthy or not on their rosters might start more action.

Fixed to eliminate logical fallacies.

Moulson sucks. Period. The guy is a one trick pony. It's Tim Kerr without the physical presence. He can't play defense, can't skate, can't pass that well. What he does do is tip pucks and bang in rebounds. A guy who does the things he does SHOULD score 30 a year because he does nothing else. Those of us who have watched him for years know that. What you're seeing from Moulson is what you'll get unless he has an elite forward capable of elevating his stats. There are plenty of guys in the NHL who can do the same thing.

Whatever 1st they may get back will most likely not be as high of a pick as they'll have to give to Buffalo. And I doubt they get an NHL-ready prospect as well.

I take it you don't pay attention to the draft very much... This draft is far from terrible. It obviously doesn't have the depth of last year's draft, but the top 5 players will still be immediate difference makers like last year IMO.

This is considered one of the weaker drafts in many years. Next years draft is one of the better ones. No huge loss.

Dude you guys say the same thing every year. Prospects are prospects and with your GM most of them get traded away. Sorry but to much dead weight on your team and with Vanek most likely leaving the gap just gets bigger. You guys should do everything in your power to try and get Ryan Miller.

"dude" which prospects have we traded away in recent memory (other than Nino)?

Only think is that Moulson proabbly will be moved for the same amount.
So Buf will end up getting 2 1sts, a 2nd, and a good prospect for Vanek

We'll see what Moulson gets. While a lot of folks on internet messageboards tend to be statistic gazers, scouts who need to evaluate all of the aspects of a players game might advise against paying too much for him.

Our series against Pittsburgh was a real eye-opener for managment. When the game tightened up and became more phsyical in front of the net and more about a transition game, Moulson was exposed as a guy who couldn't keep up.

He's a damn good kid with good reaction time, but his overall skills are severely lacking.
