Would you feel the same way if the Sens did the same to Crosby in response?

I'm OK with a charge to send a message... Not talking about a major and a game misconduct. I already see Neil going after people after the whistle.

It would be a circus, pass.

If Jags wasn't going to the Olympics, I'd like to have him back after a 3 week rest. Last year he was fried in the playoffs however. I can't imagine what he'll be like after a full season AND the Olympics.

Dumb call on Neal. And to think people think the Pens get preferential treatment.

I know meanwhile Sid is interfered with on every shift.

Forget the circus how about we talk about how he disappears during playoff time because he doesn't have the legs any more. Maybe it would be best for him to sign a contract halfway through the season as a free agent so he doesn't burn out before the games really matter.

My girlfriend and I took our son to his first game tonight. He's only two and a half but he's having a blast. I must say tho that niskanen is not having a great night.

If this theory of refs not wanting to give the Penguins power plays because they are too effective on the PP has any validity then it is bullpoop reffing. You cannot have officials decide not to call penalties because a team might score.

Also Chris Lee is one of the worst NHL refs in history. He ranks with Mick Mcgouh in terms of moronic views of a game.

All I know is I haven't seen Kobasew win one battle on the boards , he never comes out with the puck , what a waste of a roster spot !

It is bullsh*t, but the Pens should get used to it. Pretty much how the playoffs are officiated.

I love how when they finally get called for it, then complain like crazy. They have been doing it all game, it finally gets called and they act all shocked. Pens need to just run someone and say hey, if this is how you guys are going to play...I will be doing this all night.

Thing about it was, it wasn't your typical nice glove save where the shooter hits the glove, or the goalie swats at the puck and it ends up in there.

Fleury started out with his glove low, saw it rising and snapped it up.

Sick.

It would be nice to finish this off and make that save mean something. Time to get some traffic in front of Anderson.

Can't argue that call. The Penguins had about 3 lines worth of players out there.

Only because the trip wasn't called. He doesn't tripped, they won't have too many guys on the ice. If they show a replay and it wasn't a trip, ill take it back.

The reffing has been brutal all game. It's not surprising they didn't call a trip, but the Penguins had 9 players on the ice.

Ryan, please don't badmouth any more opposing goalies in future blogs. One lucky deflection on 44 shots...Anderson has been an absolute wall.
