Franson has way more offensive upside.

Gardiner is just ok at D but he's softer than butter on a hot plate, he's lost in the udder teams end too, udder than that he's terrific

Franson to me is a guy who's a bit fragile mentally. He was a wreck with Wilson, missed training camp and has not been the same this year.

Skating fast and offence are different I believe.

Gardiner has great wheels but is lost once he hits the red line.

Maybe a few more years he will be great, tough since he's only turned DEFENCEMEN shortly before going to the NHL.

I like Fransons big shot, takes the body in our end - I know he had trouble turning but his turning and Gards deficiencies, I like Franson better that's all.

Wilson gave him about 10 mins, benched him and the leafs ended up getting a great pick. So I say Wilson sucked. RC comes in and plays him, we make the playoffs and he leads the D in points.

Sure this year has been more of a struggle but were in 4th place and he's a big part.

To be honest with you guys, Gardiner and Franson could be a great pairing. If Gardiner would pretend he wad Lidstrom and worry about D 1st they could be pretty awesome.
