Guys, some of you may know of my love giving high fives during games and other such exciting times. I'll tell you all this once. And only once. Unless you miss it the first time, then I'll tell you again if you just ask. If I ever saw Kessel or the rest of the PB&J line I'd give them a high five. If they are all together, I'd give an awesome 3-4 way one like we used to see in Saved By The Bell. Damn that would be so sweet.

Actually you see a lot more difference in the salaries of the first liners compared to the scrubs who fill out the lineup all thanks to the cap.
Way more players getting paid in the 1 million and something vincinity.
Mason Raymond gets 1 million , previously mentioned jay Mcclement at 1.5 million.
That is value for money and we need to see more of it...if we want to sign any more high end talent under a cap system.

Kulemen is a keeper at $3m, I probably wouldn't want to give him any more.

He'd be more productive if he hadn't been sent to the 3rd line for so long. As he's proven he can play #2 line easy and when he scored 30, his line was even #1 line for a while

Kuli will get $3mill plus as a UFA, but IMHO, that's too much for this Leafs team - unless they can somehow get rid of Clarkson's god awful cap hit.

Orr has gone from being arguably the best fighter in the league to a punching bag. After losing a fight (which was rare),the old Orr would be looking desperately to fight trying to prove his toughness , now he loses them all and doesn't look like he gives a (frank).

When Bolland comes back, and Clarkson.

We need to shed some salary. McLaren, Orr and Ranger are the obvious choices.

Sadly Orr isn't going anywhere, I don't know if you saw Randy's comments about having a useful 4th line but all the combos he said included Orr-McClement and someone else..
