Now, for the record...if I'm Wang, I'd fire Snow at the end of the season. I know it won't happen, but he's had his chance. It's not to say he hasn't done some very good things along the way.
I do think Snow accepted the most difficult GM job in the NHL and at the time it was the worst in all of sports. I think there are plenty of reasons beyond his control for just how difficult that position has been. That said, you've had 6 years of rebuilding this club and an opportunity to improve those adverse conditions and we're now staring a bottom five finish and total regression from last year due to a coach you hired, holes you failed to plug and general inaction.
Like him or not, successes versus failures, in a business that is dependent upon achieving results, you've failed. Vio Con Dios.

If I was Wang...

1) I'd hire a consultant, an advisor. Someone from outside of the organization with a wealth of knowledge about the league and game and have that person honestly review and assess everything and everyone in the organization from Snow down to the concession stand cashiers. Wang needs to pick the brain of an objective hockey genius and pay whatever it would cost for that service. Let that person make the call on Snow, Cappy, players, etc. maybe the Advisor/Consultant gets hired as a te Team President. wang needs to be able to go to someone who has knowledge and objectivity and be able to say "what the f**k is wrong with this organization? Fix it please!"

2) whatever the advisor suggests, Wang must do. He has to actually listen to the advise. If that means firing people he likes or trading players he likes, then so be it. The only thing Wang should overrule is if a trade of JT was recommended. Then again, if someone was advising Wang to trade JT, they shouldn't be advising him.

Problem with firing Snow is that his replacement will be hired by Wang, a guy who knows nothing about the game or the league, certainly not enough to make an effective hire. Step one must be to get someone in place to advise Wang on hockey related decisions, this way, when Wang decides to fire someone, you know a reputable person will be advising Wang on who to hire next.
