if only we lost a few more games we could have had one of those players
- 2Real

None of those guys would have been available. We would have had an opportunity to take Risto or Nurse instead of Morin.

ive played for like 7 years and i still hate doing it. no clue why i still struggle with it
- stayinthefnnet

yeah I just picked it up over the summer. My dad's played since he was younger and was in a band etc etc....guitar and the piano have been my favorite instruments. I've always said to myself "boy I'd love to play the (guitar/piano)...it sounds beautiful...."

So I taught myself the piano and can play with the best of em (I play a whole bunch of Elton, after all ) and now I'm teaching myself the geetar. Hopefully I get just as good at the guitar as I am the drums and piano and viola!

ah im the opposite. i wouldnt say im bad at the guitar by any means, but ive never gotten to play the piano. ive always wanted to, its just never been practical. classical piano stuff is so awesome, although i cant claim to know any specifics. i just always love what i hear.

I feel like games between these teams are always high scoring. They usually don't end well for the orange and black.

He won't be. He is a combination of Coburn and L. Schenn. He's physical and plays with an edge, but can skate pretty well. He has shutdown defenseman potential. He makes a decent first pass out of the zone, but can't be relied upon to make too many stretch passes.
- PhillySportsGuy

yeah i got the luke schenn vibe from him. i dont know. we shall see. i also thought joe morrow looked pretty good, and i absolutely adore despres and he isnt really getting steady nhl time.

Learning the piano isn't hard! I just started watching youtube vids and stuff on tutorials on a bunch of Beatles/Billy Joel/Elton songs and started to get a good technique and just jumped in.

Once you learn the chord shapes and remember them, it's not hard! Of course, you need a piano/keyboard first

Morin is still a little ways away. Right now, his physical tools are what stand out. He is 6'7 and can skate pretty well. He appears to still be adjusting to his body. It takes big defenseman longer to adjust. I hope the team doesn't lose patience with him.

He was just suspended for throwing his stick into the stands and nearly hitting a fan.

I have always wanted to learn the piano, but I've never learned either. I do play bass guitar. Kind of.

If that's a nice way of saying slow, then I agree.

yeah, that last part is key. i always wanted a big wooden piano as a centerpiece in a home. its just never been practical at any point in my life so far. i guess its the same, but playing on a little keyboard never had an allure for me.

part of me is excited to see what life is like w/o kimmo. he's been slow, mistake and penalty prone. I'd like to see what we have that can replace him, and sadly at this point I don't think it will take much.

I'm not even kidding- I save up 20 a month to go towards a $18k+ baby grand piano

I think he'll play in the AHL next year. He's small and needs to bulk up. I think he's listed under 6'0. He can really fire the puck and can skate like the wind. He may win the Hobey Baker this year
