Reading comprehension is hard to come by with you leaf fans isn't it. Nobody mentioned the Oilers. What is wrong with you retards? |

The hemsky for hjalmasson proposition is insultingly oblivious... #4 would be the #1 dman in the grease deserts of Yakupov fun land... For hemsky, who is both bad and a right wing? the hawks are beyond the challenge of any reasonable opinion the deepest at RW in the NHL... absurd edmo babble... |

I stated a player i would like to have because yes i am the real gm of edmonton and i proposed that deal. Its just up to you to whether you want to accept it. And, i also said Hemsky+ so maybe i would throw in lander if your lucky. |

you said he would have gotten the same in the open market i was merely stating that a team like the oilers would have given him more then that to get him to go there as they need a guy on the back end to eat up min and they arent going to get one in a trade and to wait on any of their prospects will take a couple of years as dmen do not usually step up and take on top line minutes especially without an experienced guy there to be paired with them, that leaves the only way to get one is FA and to do so they would have to pay more then a contending team therefore edmonton would in my opinion pay more then 7 million a year for phaneuf. |

The Oilers could trade Yakupov, the Oilers could scratch Yakupov or they could play him.
That's EK's Oilers source. - tomburton99
Trade scratch or play... Isn't that true of every player in the league??? Not sure on your point. |

Then they should stick with their current teams. Especially the guy with the heavier adhesive. |

Did you read the part about Girardi? I was responding to an Oiler fan in jest. I used Yakupov beccause he and Hemsky have been 2 oilers most involved in rumors.

You've been talking about the Leafs since last page, you dolt. Nobody mentioned them either until you brought up Clarkson who the Oilers offered more than what he signed for. Don't get mad at Leaf fans. The worst part about it all is that you've been arguing with a Canucks fan (golfingsince) and actually thought he was a Leaf fan. Speaking of retards....
Hemsky your own team. |

You mean like the discounts Phaneuf and Kessel took to stay in toronto? And ps the maple leafs and oilers have made the playoffs the same amount of times in the last 8 years. - Ihatebrianburke
Why 8 years? Convenience? Last time the playoffs were played, one of the two teams made it. This year, it appears only one of the two teams will make it again. It just so happens last years playoff team is the one likely to make it this year. Can you guess which team that is between the Oilers and Leafs? |

Hemsky Would look great on the Hawks. - vancity787 He would, except he is making 5.5 this year with a 5mil cap hit. Who is going the other way from the Hawks to make this deal? The Hawks do not have the cap space to take Hemsky on without dumping a higher priced roster player. Not going to happen!

I already knew you were an idiot. But if you go back and read properly it was him that brought up Clarkson. But thanks for your uninformed opinion as usual. |

- PaulNewman
When trading for a player at this point in the season, you're only taking on the remainder of his salary for the season. So, you're not taking on his 5 million cap hit, but only what is left on it from the day you aquire him to the last game of the season. Like somewhere around 2 million i would say. (roughly)
I could have explained it better, but it's bed time, so I hope you got the crux of what I was trying to convey. |

You're easily the sharpest balloon in these threads. Carry on. Keep arguing with everyone, anyone and anything. Make you sure you tell that Canuck fan how much you hate the Leafs and how "stoopid" they are. That should put him in his place. Oh, and for good measure, make sure you include a few more compliments like "idiot" and "retard" to demonstrate the profoundness of your poorly thought out arguments and opinions. |
