Who stacks up against the MTL team from like 77-79?? they lost 18 games over 2 years. That team is basically all HOF'ers.

I think that was the worst attempt to discredit the Leafs Cup wins, I've ever seen. Im by no means proud of the years its been since we won, but when I look across the board to the Sabres, our history and tradition fills me with a sense of pride in a way that Ryan Miller and Chris Drury never could.
