Actually, I think it is more that people don't *want* all the Oilers' first over-alls to turn out to be stars.

I truly believe hes just having a brutal year struggling with the adjustment of a new team, hes been playing injured, and the suspensions haven't helped. He needs to recalibrate his own expectations and just go play his game. He'll get it together in my expert opinion.

It is combination frustration, and the belief that me watching curses the team.

Obviously as a Leafs fan I know all about being disappointed by my team. Every year. Year after year.

But I'll give it to Oilers fans - I'd be wondering why the hell my team isn't better. Like, what more do they have to do to see some progress?
