It's nice that you gave him a full nine minutes of ice time with that line before determining Clarkson is nothing but a 3rd liner.

Might just be easier to send Clarkson to the Marlies.

- Atomic Wedgie

we already tried clarkson with kadri and lupul, he wasnt producing... plus bolland would seem to fit clarkson better

Edit: why would you want to ruin the chemistry between lupul kadri and kulemin now when that line is hot? makes no sense

My main concern is we traded mark fraser... why didnt ranger tag along in that trade
- Mapleleafs_91

Because an NHL experienced Dman might come in handy if the injury bug strikes?

Kulemin has what 3 goals in 8 games since the move and kadri has what 12 pts??

Bare min?? Hardly.

- burn

The line being put together meant Lupul went back to the left side (he was on the right side when Raymond was there). Kulemin is versataille enough to play both sides.

Also kadri seems to rely offensively on his left winger more than his right winger.

Where do they get another center to replace him?
- sanfordnson

Who's to say another center wouldn't come back in the trade? Draft centers. Sign free agents. It's not rocket science. Keep in mind I never said the Oilers should trade him. I just said I'd rather keep Eberle over RNH. There has been talk in the media lately about the Oilers trading Eberle. I think it would be a bad idea to move him. He's the kind of clutch player the Oilers will need when they finally do make it back to the playoffs.

Bolland/Holland/Clarkson I think would be a fun line to watch. Kuli on the 2nd might help Naz with his defensive miscues.
- iTOLDu

The Kadri line is hot, I'm not even sure Ron Wilson would break them up at this point. Hopefully the goal last night sparks Lupul back into beast mode.

Obviously going to play with his boyfriend Malking for 400,000 rubles and a rub a week.

Yeah he had a good nearly 5 games with these brand new linemates in a new system in a new city. It's mind boggling how they didn't gel

Hall is the franchise. Guys out east don't realize how truly special of a player he is.

Eberle and RNH have shown glimpses of being stars. With RNH, its a development thing. He's not the first top pick centre to go up and down in value. Two seasons ago Duchene's value plummeted big time. Hell, look at Seguin, same poop.

I hope Mac is patient with Nail. He is a gamebreaker. Engimatic. Very Mogilny like. I think you guys need a veteran russian in there to work with him. Possibly a russian d-man to keep him in check? For the life of me I can't think of a vet russian forward.

I'm over Kulemin.

It's time Leafs Nation came to the same place.

He doesn't contribute as much as people think.

He's no Komarov, but still...

- Atomic Wedgie

Voice of reason. We have more invested in Clarkson than Kulemin and in the long run his offensive production is actually behind Clarksons in recent years. Might as well give Clarkson the chance to slump break and get some quality minutes.

Funny... Us Leafs fans dont watch the Oilers much so we all still assume Eberle > RNH (including myself)

Curious to know why they like RNH better... Or maybe that speaks to how average Eberle has been?

- ejeezy

RNH over Eberle is a really easy choice.

Bring Kovalchuk out of retirement?

In all seriousness, Hall is great, and RNH is untradeable. Leafs would kill for a centre prospect like RNH.
Ebs is a great top 6, but not a franchise, and will ride the growth of Hall and RNH. Yaks is too onesided, reminds me of Semin.

It has been impressive in years past, and recently if it had been that impressive, he would be in the top 6 and we woudn't need to discuss keeping him in the press box as a potential injury replacement.

They dont cycle the puck with him, thats why he wasnt producing nor was he going to the net. Thats why when he was paired with holland/kulemin he was cycling the puck more and it was a decent line. I think a bolland, holland and clarkson line would be sick. and once again why would you tamper with kulemin being on kadri and lupuls line if they are doing good?

Again, it depends who was playing which wing. But i like the current line anyways.

But everytime RNH farts he skips a step. Feather-weight.
