Against Ottawa I'm not opposed to that...
I'm curious to see how McKegg plays this evening. - A_Tree
I'd rather a good fourth line Ottawa doesn't really have fighters anyway |

This is more like it. Though to be honest I'd rather it be a little before 1 next time. |

Being mildly drunk is fine with her. It's just when I slur, stumble, and spill my beer is what infuriates her. |

I can't remember the last time I was that bad. Not "not remember" in being funny, I'd say August. That's when I thought I was Mr. Money Bags one night at the bar and treated the four of us. 2 guys 2 gals. I think I was well over 240. I didn't even get laid. |

Asking a dangerous question being a non-leaf fan in a leafs board but in honest opinion, would the best of the original 6 beat the best of the last 5 years in a match. - bcbanger
Not even close .
The reality is with the speed, size and strength of today's players the 30th place team in the NHL today would beat the last Leafs Cup winner easily. Johnny Bower would not make the AHL today.
That is just the way it is, every sport evolves and improves. Usain Bolt would jog to the 100 meter win at the Rome Olympics.
By that logic as well, and at the risk of your collective abuse, Phil Kessel is probably the most skilled player in Leaf history. Not the greatest (although some day he could be), or the most valuable, and certainly not a heart and soul guy like Gilmour. But in terms of pure skill, the only guy I can think of that would be close is Alex Mogilny. |
