Honestly, it's how he looks on the ice. He looks like a lost puppy running around... Some of the dumb stuff he's done... Me giving him more time means nothing - he'll get more time, but I for one, would rather keep Kulemin and trade Clarkson... - aminnes
True, he has looked lost.
I hope we keep both
Kulemen is the beast of the league, I wish they could get him mad - (frank)ing stunned, he doesn't even know how to cheer after scoring |

I know, a couple 2nd assists etc.
You know what I mean. Montreal great game - then not a lot until the 2 goal game
I like Kadri, I'm not here to knock him or trade him, just don't think he stirs the drink as much as he should or we would like him too - Garnie
Umm, what?? He setup all 3 goals directly. What 2nd assist?? |

Yes just not tough plays - that was 1 game
Lupul and Kulemen shot rockets not saying Kads sucks I'm just saying he didn't do much to get the points
He's just started to play better the last 3 or 4 games. It wasn't a secret he hadn't been doing a lot.
Sheesh, I like him too

The game against MTL?? The game againstTB??
Those assists were pretty (frank)ing good. How do you think they were able to rip those shots??

I say trade Kelli Clarkson to Magnitogorsk for cap space and get this hartikainen kid over here with komarov. then trade for the other teemu and maybe jagr at the deadline, plan a route and sit back.
edit: I've seen better alliteration |

Last night assists?
Oh come on, he passes it to the point Franson has to get it, skate and turn and fire.
The Lupul pass was ok, 10 ft nobody in between them.
Montreal game was his best game for sure - sorry it's been more than 4 or 5 games he's been back playing better.....been about 10 - since the hab game -
When he hits / gets the puck deep and doesn't lose it in the neutral area he's 100x more effective

Exactly. Most of those teams have a core of home grown drafted players. Not at all the case in our situation. All we have are who....Kadri, Kulemin, Rielly and Reimer? We traded our way to a playoff spot, over the course of a couple of years, and trades/signings don't come as cheap as home grown players. Especially when some of them take discounts to remain on cup contenders. - systemtool
I'm going to be interested to see what kind of money Kane & Toews ask for at the end of 2014/15 season... my guessing they'll each be looking for Kessel type money.
Leafs should be okay going into next season - because despite what we may be thinking CAP wise, Franson really not going to get much more than Gunnarson type money, Reimer won't be asking for much and I strongly suspect Kulemin will stick around for 2.5/year on a decently long deal.

Should be a lot of roster shuffling with the number of FAs we have. Though mostly for bottom 6 players, fringe 2nd liners. |

I wasn't just talking about last game.
Points aren't the be all to end all, if you score 3 but have 5 scored against you, are you still playing great?
Not saying this happened but he's a minus player for a reason - he's had some inconsistent games. If you don't see this well......
I like Kadri and think he's going to be a great player

I used to love this First 48 show....until I realized that just about all episodes are the same poop. Black person dies, motive is drugs/gangs/robbery. Once in awhile you get some spanish victims/suspects, but never any white collar poop. Gets boring fast. So disappointed....but im still watching.
And for the love of God, will these fools ever learn to just shut the (frank) up and ask for a lawyer? Half the time they're incriminating themselves. |

Questioning what others are seeing yet you said he had 2nd assist. Ok
He's producing, which is what we were discussing. He's had some issues away from the puck, but also made good plays as well. |
