Yeah. If being a Season Ticket Holder mean getting an "Ignore" button, I'd sign up RIGHTDAMNNOW. Wouldn't be able to get my credit card out fast enough

Meh, I don't know if I would. I support Ek, even if he has been posting less rumors this year it seems. Even if they don't come true or whatever, it gets people talking.

With all the advertisements I get on here though, and a couple of those "auto play" ads, I wouldn't pay.

Flyers have had a few guys like that in recent years. Fedoruk, Boulerice, Cote, Shelley, Rosehill and kind of Newbury.

Even Eager to a lesser degree, who I remember getting thrashed by Gary Roberts.

- flyer_nutter

Wasn't that Eager's last game as a Flyer? I think he was promptly traded for Jim "I was kinda good the first time I was her" Vandermeer. You wanna talk about a horrible defenseman...

I was lightened up, actually, until you had to make your cute little remark. I'm in absolutely no f'in mood today. Sorry if that's me being a baby or a princess or a drama queen or whatever, but really, I'm not in a very forgiving mood today. I do have a feeling of irony in the air though.

Off the top of my head, the not top 10 since 95

1. Illya Bryzgalov
2. Kyle Calder
3. Danny Markov (wish we never dealt Williams)
4. Mike Rathje
5. Pavel Brendl
6. Steve Eminger
7. Zherdev
8. Adam Oates
9. Mike York/Geoff Sanderson - inlcuding them as one loser
10. JVR

Why no Jeff Carter? Danny Markov was a crazy sob

Since I was urged by a few people to come back...I will. And for the record, I'm just not going to care about most of the conversations on here, and just have fun instead of hating everything like the bulk of everyone on here. That said, my top-10 Flyers of my lifetime:

1. Lindros - got me into hockey as a kid, and was (next to Lemieux) the most dominating player I have ever seen.
2. Richards - the Game 5 Montreal goal remains, to this day, my favorite goal of all time. Shame he was never the same player after the Booth hit.
3. Timonen - the best long-time Flyers defenseman I've has the pleasure of seeing (sorry, Yuskevich). Amazingly agile, great passer, underrated shot, and the best player at breaking up 2-on-1's I've ever seen.
4. LeClair - last Flyer to score 50 goals, and was near impossible to knock off the puck/out of the crease. His tormenting of Montreal was gold.
5. Pronger - here for only 2 years, but god damn he was amazing. Showed me what a hall of fame defenseman was. Was mean as hell and was a joy to watch both on and off the ice. I was at the Toronto game and it was a shame that Jagr's first 2 goals as a Flyer were overshadowed him the stick to his eye.
6. Hextall - was the best I've ever seen at being Ron Hextall.
7. Brind'Amour - like Timonen, but a forward. Hard-working, very underappreciated, but essential to a winning lineup. Could play any forward position at any manpower and excel. And his nose.
8. Giroux - probably the best puck possession player I've seen on the team since Forsberg left. When he is on his game, he is close to being the best player in the game. For whatever reason, his dazzling plays have tailed off, but he's worth the price of admission when he's on.
9. Gagne - Scored 2 of the greatest goals I've ever seen and was one of the game's premier scorers for a few years. Injuries derailed his career quite a bit, but had some of the best offensive skills the team's had in many years.
10. Forsberg - like Pronger, he was here for too short of a time, but was the best overall Flyer I'd seen at times, when he was on and healthy (which was far too infrequently). However, the things he did with the puck (and his body) were almost magical.

I only hate Carter for missing that wide open net in the SCF. He's close.

My favorite Markov moment, even more than his goal against NJD, was during the Ottawa fight fest. After fight #2, they cut to the Flyers' dressing room, and there's a shot of Markov where he looks absolutely insane. Makes me smile every time I see it.

Is it me or does it seem like when the Flyers make a mistake it almost always ends up in their net. Other teams make mistakes and it's not the case.
