Not saying he's not going to be a good player, or possibly an elite player some day. I was simply alluding to the the fact that one can't even suggest that he may not end up being that player without Edmonton homers calling you an idiot for even having such a preposterous idea, yet they can make a blanket statement about Leafs fans being the most hated in the league?!

If people are going to be speculative on any level, it's a good policy to allow others to do the same without calling them idiots or otherwise.... Are Leafs fans the most hated in the league? Maybe. Will Yakupov be the next great one? Maybe. Nothing definitively accurate about either of those comments though. So we are still left to mostly pure speculation.

Unfortunately for the Wild, they've never spent time at the bottom of the conference let alone 4 or 5 straight seasons in order to warrant 3 straight first overalls, so for the most part you're right, but really pretty irrelavant to any true hockey fan.

Just because we finish at the bottom of the standings doesn't mean we don't know what TALENT is in the NHL. To say Yakupov hasn't done anything to suggest he will be that level of player is just ignorant
