I think I may just have a fainting spell if they have the balls to buy out Streit this summer, and admit the mistake.
I refuse to believe even of the AHL kids down there now can be any worse. At least they have room to improve. - flyer_nutter

"So here we have a brief biography on Corey Penispump Perry:
Corey was born in Peterborough, Ontario where his mother squirted a dump out and was shocked to find out it was sentient. Instead of flushing it, she threw it outdoors into the cold. Don't tell me that May in Canada is warm out. It's Canada, it's always frozen. From there, Corey learned to skate at an early age, and learned that people were utterly detested by him. After surviving on nothing but pine-cones and his own urine for years, a hockey scout discovered Perry behind an outhouse in rural Manitoba. Shocked by Perry's skating ability and ability to make people in his proximity vomit violently, Corey Perry landed a contract." |

He's staying bro...
It's bad when your big summer signing is a lesser version of Kimmo who's close to retiring |

I think, and I say that very lightly, that someone on here said it would be around 2.5 million if they do it this summer. |

It's always the same...when you struggle....the other goalie always looks like George Vezina.

first period they were good, carrying the play a bit
ducks first goal was a weird floater that was deflected high
vinnie missed on the doorstep which would have put them up 2-1 at the time
2nd period was all ducks, they got hemmed in their zone a ton
getting killed on the faceoffs
ducks look much faster and bigger
hartnell had a great chance to make it 3-2 near the end of the second and the goalie made a great save
their back up goalie looks great...duh |

Thanks Marc. I'd do it, at the very least his minutes should be given to kids in the AHL, or that are developing. We complain about Grossmann, but the guy has been a defensive d-man his whole career. Streit is apparently an offensive d-man. I don't see it aside from the shot. He is as slow as Grossmann if not worse. |

the faster/bigger part bothers me a lot. Usually a team has one OR the other. The Flyers often seem to lack both against the better teams.

Is it my imagination or does Streit unusually often fail to keep the puck in at the blue line when we are set up? |
