True, but both goals, the Flyers defense gave up positioning to the Ducks forwards, which made them possible. The second goal, Coburn was more worried about blocking the shot than defending Getzlaff, and Getzlaff made a nice move to get positioning and score the goal

Both goals allowed because the same winger missed his man at the point and allowed shot to the net.....

Immaterial if the defensemen defend players and not worry about blocking shots.

Good job by Downie. Taking Getzlaf off is valuable.

That's how Downie needs to play.

Good point by Ducks announcers though. G will now have to keep his head up.

I wonder how many captains in the league still don't wear a visor? He's probably the most notable one to refuse the visor.

So who plays the their center when he is below our goal line? Because Vinnie is never down there in recent games. This forces our wingers to play a little lower, which makes it harder for them to cover the points when there is a quick pass back out.

Thats my theory anyway...

Fun to watch though.

Flyers have guys that should excel at a gritty, and a bit dirty game.

You really have to try and clog up the neutral zone. When the Ducks get down low, they are a nightmare to handle.
