Pirri > Shaw and Zus at 2C. He'll get better too.

Good last half of the game. They have to build on this.

Ben Smith = the shiznit.

Nice win, boys - now build on it.

Two-goal deficits overcome the last two games for 3 points - now build on it.

Good Cory tonite - held them for the last 38 minutes.

Still on track for 4-1-1 on the trip.

Exactly my thought Saint. Played better. Still work to do.

Crawdaddy was great !

Hawks bet an old rival to break a pooptyyy streak.

**Remember boys , even though we nit pick the Hawks to death THIS IS THE GOLDEN AGE OF BLACKHAWKS HOCKEY****

We are fortunate to be living during this time in this franchise's history. Like most of you the Chicago Blackhawks are my favorite team in town and they are simply loaded.

Look at all the other teams in the NHL their problems are much greater than ours.

Be safe . Have a great night !!

Great win for the boys even though there are still some areas that need improvement....Canucks couldn't expose them but the Sharks will. I will take it though......

NBC will make them go, if nothing else.

Only if the insurance gets terminated will they not go.

God forbid...but could you imagine if something happens. I know the NHL has raised concerns about security.....lets keep our fingers crossed.

Smith had a real great game. He was solid 5-on-5 and he was excellent on the PK with Saad (they make a great combo).

Yes and No. They create some great chances, just need to finish a few more of them.

The general goal of that line is to not give up goals against, and maybe bang a little and keep the puck deep in a cycle to wear out the opposition. But if they are creating point blank chances, they need to finish a few.

- TheTrob

There is a reason they are on the 4th line Trob. Bollig has played 1 full year at the NHL level. Let's see if he buries those chances in another season.

Hawks play better against the better teams. They seem to relax and mail it in a little against the calgarys of the league.

They don't need to be presidents trophy winners, they just need to be playing solid hockey at the end of the season, and hopefully remain healthy. If that means taking a few games off in the middle of the year, so be it.

#Blackhawks win 5-2. Quenneville now third all-time winningest coach in NHL history. Saad two goals, assist.

- philco28

A rather ironic tweet with Saads name associated....considering some of us think Q doesn't like playing youngsters.....

Saad had great game too. High motor guy. He got absolutely mugged twice in the 3rd...not sure how he didn't draw a penalty on either one.

Understood, same with Smith. As confidence grows with both of them they will hopefully convert more chances. Remember, goals from this line ( and the 3rd) are what separates a deep team from the rest, especially come playoff time.
