There's a simple reason why terrorism is popular... it works.

Terrorism itself is a biased word, anyways. "One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter"- just depends which side you're on.

Guerrilla tactics(neutral term!) work because they're so hard to stop. Guerrillas can disappear into the general populace in a minute, and they force a response that almost invariably claims innocent lives. The outside view is almost always of a superior power further oppressing a disadvantaged group, and our instincts to side with the underdog kick in.

my fav part to point out to americans who are all on the end terrorism train.

between 1765ā€“1783 the americans themselves, by their own definition, would be considered terrorists

those (frank)s dont even realize they're the modern day british they rebelled against.

There is no (frank)ing way somebody could hide a guerilla and keep it hidden. Those things are (frank)ing hard to keep hidden.

I think the goal of it was to make fans look foolish....here is the team "YOU" want.
- burn

I thought so to. But he only used like 3 trades, and at least 1 or 2 of them were jokes. So he sort of proved nothing....It left me feeling unsatisfied and wanting more. More from someone who could put on their serious hat and underwear. The majority of us "YOU"'s would never make those deals.

Sounds like Israel's last war with the Hezbollah. Remember seeing roof tops of houses open quickly to launch a quickly and then close....
Impossible to fight that.

Have fun. I've been to games in 14 different cities, and TB has to be near or at the top.

You can go to a place called Ybor City, which is the rough equivalent of the Distillery District. Have a few wobbly pops, and then take a trolley to the game.

Outdoor bar at the arena.

Oh poop, I'm jealous.

Gus K did. When he first left he did stuff for them. Gibson still works for them though.

Did he?? I don't recall. I never saw anything from him.

He was doing McKeen's when he left (still there).

Mirtle.

Man, that guy is high strung. Even remotely question him and his #CorsiMob and he'll be calling you everything under the sun.

Good times

Today he said the Leafs dont let "us" talk to assistant coaches, but I've seen them being quoted in stories and blogs, and interviewed during intermissions.

except that the immediate and prolonged result against a "terrorist attack" is almost 100% of the time further unification AGAINST the group doing the attacking... which is theoretically the opposite reaction the group is looking for.

- Badge

Immediate, yes.

Prolonged? not really.

Other nations that aren't exactly aligned with the one that got attacked will condemn the attacks at first, sure, but they'll see a chink in the armor, and slowly aim their propaganda machines to shine a light on the suffering in those regions, and imply how they're doing what they have to do to fight oppression... and slowly but surely use the event to gain leverage against the nation that was originally attacked. It gives the terrorists legitimacy, and draws aid to them.

Look at the middle east right now. The "good guys"- the ones toppling those evil dictators, and setting up new "democracies" etc, etc-those guys are the same ones that would cheer if the US was wiped off the map.

Other guys says - how are you getting along.

Pretty good, I still have some powdered stuff left.
