Watched the entire game. As most of you know I have been a Pageau fan since his days with Gatineau. Long believed in terms of pure puck skill and hockey IQ he is equal to (or better) than Claude Giroux. But, it is one thing for a small man to have the skill. It is entirely a different matter to apply it at the NHL level.

But, yesterday was just absolutely unbelievable. He could of scored five goals. He was the most dangerous man on the ice (scoring threat) when killing penalties. As the game moved on Ottawa coaches (Steve Sterling) cut back on his ice time. He did not come unto the ice until 3:30 minutes into overtime and Sterling did not use him in the shoot out. But, what a show when he was out there.

The play was pretty even 5on 5. The biggest difference was special teams. Leafs had 2 more mins o PP time but half the shots and gave up like 6 short handed shots. TB blocked a ton and the Leafs missed the net a ridiculous amount.

That particular play was pretty ugly though, he went for a wrap down low on a 7'18" goalie instead of a 3' pass to JVR who could have putted an easy one. JVR skated by him saying "Charmouta" after the fact.

What does everyone see the lines as when that does happen. RC will be forced to dress an actually descent 4th line..or will cap work against that?
