Why the hell would Pittsburgh or Chicago want Kadri! If they scouts see something that the dummies in Toronto can't see about Kadri then we need a front office house cleaning. I can see it now we trade Kadri for a bucket of pucks and he becomes the second coming of Chris Kunitz!

Apparently other teams have been feeding off the Leaf's front office incompetence for years, given the lack of patience, and questionable management moves. Kadri is raw talent, Carlyle sees it and gets frustrated by it when Kadri makes questionable decisions on the ice. However, when he is on his game, as the scouts from Chicago and Pittsburgh see, he is an elite player in the making. Best the Leafs keep their powder dry, and let their player continue to develop.

Agreed. A solid signing for a good, positive, veteran presense. Great on the shoot out and affordable. Already said he wants to stay, and for a slight raise, Tallon will make that happen.

I admit I haven't seen a ton of his games but I always thought he was a pretty good player. Still early in his developement but you can see its there. Not sure how he fits in on the Pens or what goes back the other way but I'd be ok with acquiring him. Just not seeing a need for another center.

Starting to wonder if he is bad in the locker room or something. He was moved around quite a bit. I liked him when he played for Boston. Trading him for Wideman was a terrible idea.
