Looking at his whole body of work since joining the Flyers, how can you not like and respect Kimmo Timonen. He may have lost a step but he works his tail off and has the heart of a warrior.
If every guy on this team played as hard as Timonen, they'd be a lock for the playoffs!

I can hate a guy cause he's dogging it and I can get frustrated with a guy who constantly makes dumb mistakes. But I'm not gonna rip a guy who I believe is giving everything hes got. At this point in his career Kimmo should be a 3rd pair guy mentoring a younger, more mobile partner, not a guy getting overplayed and overexposed on the top pair. |
