Call me crazy but I'm disappointed to be seeing the Wings for the only time this year and not seeing Zetterberg, Datsyuk, or Franzen.

No, this game is in my ticket package and it was my most anticipated game of the year. Datsyuk is the one super star player currently in the league I haven't gotten to see live. But ugh, that looks like a preseason roster Detroit is throwing out there tonight.

This could really turn into a snooze fest game. And if we lose to this roster I don't think I'll be able to handle the crowd at the WFC.

If we lose to this roster you better not come in here tomorrow either becasue I have a feeling we will be going off more then the WFC crowd will tonight...

I will personally come up with a trade proposal for every player on the team.... unless I'm too busy at work, or get banned somehow between now and then.

flyers losing at the WFC used to be just as entertaining as them winning the fans were hilarious years ago

If people are sedated with wellfare and Obama phones, they have no incentive to make thier lives better.

It's funny how when a person in poverty receives a cost-assisted cell phone it's considered welfare, but when a group like MSG -- owner of the Knicks (#1 valued NBA team) and Rangers (#2 valued NHL team) -- gets a special property tax exemption worth millions per year, it's called business.

$17.3 million for Fiscal 2014... I wonder how many cell-phones and affordable health care plans that could buy?

welfare is a concept i struggle with a lot internally. id be lying if i could say i have a hard opinion on it. im pulled in too many directions by both compassion, resentment, and pragmatism, just to name a few.

Does the downward spiral continue tonight or is the ship righted?

Maybe spend more time railing on the latter then... because begrudging a bit of charity, when Lockheed Martin is out there pocketing $70 BILLION of our tax $ for a weapon system that has still never seen combat despite two wars, seems like a ridiculous waste of energy to me.

Given the up-and-down nature of this team, neither outcome means anything really.
