He is an offensive defense man. He had some success last year, regressed at the start of this season. Carlyle gave him some one on one time and he seems to have gotten his game back. His defense partner in college was Justin Schultz so some people believe if they get back together they will elevate their game.

I think Gardiner is tougher than Schultz and plays a better defensive game. Watching Schultz this year has been hard on the nerves, he makes a lot of bad decisions. Mind you, he is playing in a higher role than he should be where as Gardiner has more support around him. If it is Gagner for Gardiner, I wouldn't be opposed to trying it out the two of them for the rest of the season before resigning Schultz.

Took a new job at a pub so have to work an extra day, and no it is dead, especially today being that next is superbowl Sunday.
