Why not? I know I'm sounding kinda like a Leafs fan here but just look...the Blue's 1st rounder isn't going to be high so it's not as valuable as the average 1st round pick. Also, Rattie is probably worth getting rid of if the cost is a Stanley Cup.

Is Miller not a UFA next season? No way you get that for him. Especially if and when Howard plays better in Socchi.

It just doesn't make sense if they're trying to win the cup NOW...

Take Oshie out of the equation
Add Allen or Jaskin
Maybe make that 1st a conditional pick based on how far they get in the playoffs or if Miller re-signs

I'm reasonably sure that's the type deal we end up getting

Before the season started maybe we could've gotten Oshie, Taresenko, Stewart, Berglund, etc... But not now... It would just open up a hole in their top9 that they can't really replace

no one wants gagner, stop trying to include him in every deal. he has negative trade value because of his contract and awful play this season. if phily was stupid enough to trade giroux, you can bet your ass it would include hall...maybe eberle.

finally a smart sabres fan, first one in this thread. rattie/jaskin + 1st will be the best miller will likely fetch. unless the sabres eat some salary. anyone who thinks oshie or tarasenko will be going the other way is a delusional sabres fan.

Miller will not land Tarasenko....unless it's a sign and trade.
