I know... Obviously You want to be able to give him this game but maybe if we where well in a play off spot and not on the outside fighting to get in. I'll get some hate but whatever this was an important game for the team and THIS SEASON should of went with the better guy.

He is the better goalie so yes I do. Maybe we are still losing or maybe he doesn't let in the first 2 weak goals before we started making breakdowns.

I'm OK with Marty starting this game, as long as it's only this game. We're still 3-1 vs the Rags this year, it's not the end of all things here.

That said, Cory better get the majority of the starts going forward. And NJ better provide him with offensive support.

I still don't see this as a playoff team, but I still root for them and want them to win obviously. And Cory deserves it.

It's one game. As long as DeBoner can move on and start Cory next game and not get hung up on the "Marty needs a game to prove the last one was a fluke" garbage then we'll be OK.

Problem is, I guess, that I don't trust DeBoner to make the right call. About anything.

It's obviously very hard to predict the future and hindsight is 20-20 but Cory is always the safer goalie and choice no matter what anyone says. If we get to the SCF somehow I guess he would deserve that game to because of his legacy and everything he has done in the PAST.
