The Clay People.

Buster Crabbe - a hot Jean Rogers as Dale.

That was sponsored by Community Discount Stores, IIRC.

Nive Saint. Thought of Newman too. Different kind of cool though. Grant is an outstanding choice. I have another thought. and going completely off the board with these two. Jimmy Stewart and Tom Hanks.
- Elbows15

Stewart, yes - not a fan of Hanks (except for Bosom Buddies, of course).

Coolest of all the old timers was Bogart.

Thanks. I knew I could count on you so this team can close it out and come up big when it matters most. But still almost one in 3 go to OT. I don't know what it means? They let a lot go to ot but do finish them off. I think they just don't seem to have that cocky swagger they had before: Knowing they will win. But yet they do win.

It really is. I need to get back to Chicago pronto.
So EDM was going after Seabrook eh? Bet you could get something nice for him. Especially from a desperate team like the Oilers

If you're going with McQueen and Newman you have to go with The Towering Inferno...

Frankie, OK - seemed natural.

Dean - always seemed manufactured to me - maybe it was the drunk ACT that threw me off.

Mitchem - coasted thru too many roles, but great in Night of the Hunter, and Out of the Past.

Bob Mitchum...one of my favs. "Out of the Past" is a good one ya don't find very often.

They've got nothing I'd want for a top pairing D-man.

My weekends were usually eating McDonalds while watching Fat albert. and a lot of AWA wrestling with the classics: Richard the bruiser and the Crusher. Yukon Moose Cholak. There was always a commercial they did locally I cant remember what for, though? Used car lot?

For McQueen another would be the Getaway with Faye Dunaway. Alex could not hold a candle to it with the remake. Sam Peckinpah was the best.

If you're going with Newman, have to go with Fast Eddie Felson or Butch Cassidy, Sully Sullivan, Cool Hand Luke, Lou Harper....

McQueen? Great Escape, Nevada Smith, Cincinnati Kid, Josh Randall.

Jane Greer in that movie was as pretty as any actress in any movie ever.

All their best players are top 6 forwards. Except for 2C, we've got no top 6 Vacanies. I'd rather keep the top pairing D-man, and try to fill the 2C spot internally. Preferably with someone on an entry level contract.

When Cholak wrestled in these parts he was introduced as the "Golden Moose" from Antioch, Illinois. Loved it when he laid a beating on Hans Schmidt one night at the Buffalo Auditorium.
