I kinda liked the Ducks uniforms tonight...loud, but ok.

What did the rest of you think?

Nice and simplistic. Solid Orange with the black under the arms, black lettering.

As I watched the game, I kept thinking I shouldn't like these sweaters...but I do.

It was certainly easy to tell who was who.

I though Philly was playing to start off with, other than the name plate thing Philly does. Later on I thought they were a lot better than the neutral LA jerseys. I don't think they could have picked more diverse colours for the team unless they used neon colours for Anaheim.

Liked LA's better. Speaking of which. They can't score to save their lives.

Vanek and the Isles were ripped off against the Blues

He stepped on the puck .,, not sure where Toronto saw a distinct kicking motion
Refs on the ice got it right

If you can use your feet to receive a pass and do a host of other things with your skates
Not even sure I like the rule anyway

What's worse is the Isles coughed up the game with 30 some seconds left...
Hawks need the two points tonight and for chrissakes no shootout!

Ah the NHL!

Last week the Red Wings are allowed a goal that went 50 feet up the netting and bounced in off of Quick's back and none of the officials saw it and the play is classified as not reviewable.

Yesterday upon review the mental midgets in Toronto overturn the on ice call and decide Vanek punted the puck into the net. They must have been looking at a different replay from a different game.

If it was the Bruins or Rangers or Red Wings it would have counted. The Islanders - well they just don't matter.

Although a stretch, I can see blowing a non-reviewable call like the puck going to the top of the netting - not hard to lose sight of the puck sometimes (although why it's not reviewable is beyond me).

But to have TORONTO blow a call like that, when they have all sorts of time and camera angles to review the play, is unconscionable.

All Centers who are likely not available. Every team not making the playoffs do not dismantle their teams, especially NHL proven centers.

Just sayin....

Or a case of two Kanes may not be better than one especially if E Kane is the head case that some make him out to be.

Unless he's a C, I really don't see where another top 6 F fits on this team.

I don't question the decision - but now the 55,000 in the house next door to the house that Ruth built have to sit there in the freezing cold for an hour.

I just wonder what kind of weather we get here on March 1st? You never know with Chicago what it will be

I really like Eller. I don't think he is available, though. Smith would be a great fit but I don't see them moving him. I guess for the right price anyone can be traded but I wouldn't give up too much for them.

Pregame says the Rangers have been playing "very well" lately going 6-3-1 over their last 10. If 13 points over 10 games is "very well", maybe we're just a little spoiled thinking the Hawks are in the tank at 4-2-4 for 12 points in the last 10.
