Where does it make sense that 2 nd liners fight 4 th liners.

If Kassian is going to fight Gadzook then Hall fights Sestito?

- VANTEL

hahaha WOW, it's about backing up your talk. Kassian is the biggest (frank)ing wussy in the league, typical he plays for Vancouver.

Not hard to understand .Oiler fans are upset that Canucks second liner didn't fight your fourth line punk. Where does it make sense in the trade off ?

I'm sure Kassian was told not to fight last night as we've got a lot of injuries, at the very least I'm sure he was told to fight on his own terms - not Edmonton's. Let's get one thing straight, Kassian is not afraid to fight, he's answered the bell many times including Ben Eager. I'm sure he knows and respects Gazdic, he's a tough customer.

he's a (frank)ing wussy.

If Kassian is a legit 2nd liner on your team, then your team is not nearly as amazing as you weasels claim it is.

Kassian/Gagner incident was an accident, by a player who is sincerely one of the dumbest and most careless in the league. I think Kassian is a bafoon and I hold him accountable for his actions vs. Gagner, but he got his punishment, paid his due etc. To chirp a guy after the fact, about a broken jaw as a result from an accidental careless play...is dispicable.

Kassian is scum lower than marine plant life. Where do the Canucks keep finding these guys? Is it a culture in Vancouver that changes players into senseless idiots? or does the organizations actively look for them?

Teams win and they lose, but at the end of the day there are 8yr old boys watching and wearing the jersey. The Vancouver Canucks have a BIG problem in this regard. Totally lacking of class from top to bottom.

Kassian is beyond classless, and has no (frank)ing balls whatsoever, I'd be (frank)ing embarrassed if that piece of poop was on my team. Breaks a guys jaw swinging his stick around like a (frank)ing retard, then he wants to mock the guy after the fact, and then too much of a (frank)ing little wussy to back up his talk. He should be (frank)ing embarrassed at how much of a classless little (frank)ing wussy he is, and Vancouver fans should be embarrassed about cheering for this (frank)ing loser.
- SpoiledByOil

Hahahaha, yeah we should abandon our team and move on to cheering for the Oilers. The epitome of class, structure and sportsmanship.

Having a young player eff up is common in this league, he served his suspension. Did you abandon your team when

Having a team toil in the basement after getting fed top draft picks every year is embarrassing.

Let's see. EDM turns into

Hall-RNH-Eberle
Perron-Ladd-???
Brouwer-Gordon-Erat
Gazdic-Arco-Hendricks/Smyth

Alzner-Buff
Ference-J Schultz
Belov-Marincin/N Schultz

I guess that's pretty good. Good F depth. Pretty top heavy D though and a hole at 2RW. That second pairing is weak while J Schultz is still growing.

Don't know how the cap works

- TheNugeIsHuge

That top line will get killed. They need some size and grit on every line, can't make plays when you're on your ass in the corner after losing a battle along the boards.

Until this team gets a Backes type player on that line, or a Lucic, you will suffer the same fate.

Just admit that it is not having guys like Zack on the Oilers that are holding them back.

You need zack Kassians on your team, it would give your skilled guys room, and give your coach a tough grinder that can handle himself and eat some minutes.

It is what the Oilers actually need.

Please tell me how tough and gritty the sister's are and how they continuously crash and bang in the corners, etc.

Hahaha, they win battles along the boards all day, they also play against the top pairing dmen, and in 10 years the 2 of them combined have missed 45 games. They can take hits, and go to the gritty areas to score....
They also played years on the 2nd and 3rd line, learning how to be the players they are today. Something that RNH, Ebs, and Hall weren't given.

It's not allowed. I have his jersey and it must remain as a valid jersey!

Plus, Ward, Biron and Dredger are all stupid. Not as stupid as some of the other guys they have on TSN, but still stupid. I'm pretty sure the return for Eberle has to be pretty substantial. I have a feeling he isn't going anywheres.

- ChetManly

I don't get this. He's a decent player, but not a star. I think in 2 years he's another Gagner...someone you finally realize is a solid player and nothing more.

That's why someone like Burrows is always on their line. BTW...the Sedins are very good at winning board battles.

Absolutely everything you said is correct, except for the part about Kassian`s brain. He really is an idiot. He is hard to manage because he is so stupid...bad penalties, a great goal with soft-ish hands...followed by a ridiculously stupid defensive gaff, stupid comments, stupid public shows of just....idiocy.

So, physically you are right, but mentally..he`s exactly what any team definitely does NOT need.

Here`s a better example: I think Burrows is a total douche and not a likeable guy whatsoever...I`d love him on the Oilers.

I used to think this....the Sedins are tougher than most of us realize. They have made their careers in the corners and behind the net where every chance a d-man gets he hacks and smashes them. I am sure their bodies are nothing but bruises.

i don`t like the way they look, I don`t like the way they `turn the other cheek`...but the Sedins have to be respected. My opinion anyway.

I was referring to the crash and bang board battles. They are very good with puck possession and I've seen them control the boards many times, they are skilled that way.

Yes, I'll admit he makes dumb mistakes, but that can often be coached. That is what Torts is trying to do with him.

You can coach some of that mental crap out of his game. The size, grit and toughness is hard to teach into a kids game though.

I'm not denying their skills. I'm pissed at how a r-tard makes a r-tard comment about 3 skilled players that face the exact same tough defensemen that the Sedin's do and say that they are going to be punished. Hall/Ebs/Nuge have played long enough and they are still here playing hard. I hate r-tard comments.

Because they are losing those battles along the boards, not winning them. Call me a rtard all day, it doesn't change the fact that when RNH goes into the corner he loses the battle cause he is young, small and inexperienced (in the big picture). They do play hard, but they need some size to give them space.

BTW, the Sedins weren't top line guys until 2006-2007, that gave them 6 years to develop in the NHL(3rd, then 2nd liners) into top line players, under Bert, Naslund and Morrison.

Kesler. Tough, leads, hits, scores.

He is the one that actually made Brown pay for what he did to Luongo.
