I'd bet Vanek could bring back a 1st and a decent prospect. Possibly more. Tough call.

For Amac, I wouldn't give a bucket of pucks for him, but I'd bet another team might be willing to pony up a 3rd, maybe a 2nd if we serve drinks.....

I hate to say this but I don't know if I really want to trade Vanek. I am starting to like what I see in that first line. Tavares, Vanek and Okposo are really clicking. If there is a cold day in hell that Vanek will sign here to an extension then there is no choice but to trade him. It would be idealistic to trade him for a nhl ready defenseman and a offensive player.If he really wants to go to Minnesota then for who?

Why do you hate to say it? I don't think there is an Islander fan out there that wants him traded? He's been part of the most dynamic line we've had in years.

I did... 2 weeks was a little stiff for upsetting a whole fan base even if its only 10 people.
