oh I see...
I agree... great move, why did the Kings do that?

Beat me... But I'm happy they did. I think it helps the marlies. Pretty clear they got more skill in return, and it seems like they have grinder/checker guys that can fill that role.

Yup...Great move for the Leafs...Crescenzi was NEVER going to make the Leafs...At least this guy has skill and may be called up every once and a while... |

Also of note on this kozun deal, Crecenzi's deal is this year+next years, where as Kozun deal ends this year. If could gain a spot on their reserve list if they so chose. |

Or a guy who had been passed in the Kings organization by Vey. Seriously, stop trying to act like all leaf fans are the same. It's fricking insulting beyond belief. Some of us are fricking puckheads that spend 24/7 trying to better our fantasy teams to the point we're practically scouting every league....hell we even know what the hell is going on in the NCAA. And yes I realize by admitting to this I sound like I have no life, I just love hockey and winning fantasy pools. |

HUGE trade. - Pecafan Fan
It was never called a huge trade by any of us. But a confusing one, yes. Will this guy impact the leafs? Probably not, but he's at least a chip to move to get our next Mark Fraser (see Deschamps trade). And with LA's history of so-called AHL career guys, I think this deal has promise.
I may have overreacted to you, but you do seem to want to be that guy that only drops in to pick apart posts by Leaf posters. Usually you're an alright guy, but I took offense to your whole approach this time around. Again, I'm not saying Kozun is anything special, but compare the two players, one actually has a shot at the NHL, the other is a dead end. Hence the deal confuses the crap out of me. |
