Gardiner is simply a rock back there. If anyone goes first it's Kadri.

Kudos to Reimer.

so, do all of you RC haters still wish that we had the unproven eakins behind the bench? he can't even make the playoffs with 10 top 5 picks in the lineup.
Does yakupoop even play anymore?
What a fuqing joke

edit: Mike, nice alliteration

Still not a fan of RC but since he made the comment about having to coach better to the team strengths it appears he has done just that and is having success. I will give it sometime to see how things go from here.

I'm not sure about a rock, perhaps a large pebble is more appropriate. I think Franson goes first.

Even though Reimer was solid I still player Bernier until the break. You've gotta keep running with him...I think it'll do the team some good to stick with him.

Nice problem to have though. Edmonton would kill to be in our situation.

- Canadian kid

Big deal. We'd kill to be in anyones situation.

Our misery is bad enough. Leave it alone already.

OK OK

Good point, he's not a rock....

...He's very good at....ummm, being fast, from the back end, not that there's anything wrong with that.

Leafs have been the butt of the Canadian teams and NHL for the last decade.

....You will accept what is coming your way!

Leave it alone?...No, no sir. That's the last thing any vengeful Leafs fan will do.

I like the pairings right now.

RC put Gards right back out after that bad pass, I was sending him to the room before it hit the back of the net

edit: and Reim's maybe coulda shoulda had that 2nd goal.

Good game leafs! Very impressed with JVR, still don't know why the flyers shipped him out. I liked what I saw from our boys in the later half of the game. Mackinnon and Barrie were absolutely flying tonight. Dutchie was playing well but needs to get that goal stick going. Midway through the third period he shot the puck over the net right on the doorstep. Seems almost impossible to elevate the puck that much from such a close range. He scores there and its a one goal game, completely changing the outlook.

Hopefully the boys shake it off and are back at it Friday against the Panthers. The avs are almost completely healthy, although I can't wait to get Tangs back and have even more options in the top 9.

Good luck the rest of the way!

Mackinnon is an absolute (frank)ing beast. Geesus christ he was so fun to watch play and use his speed/moves, incredible! Think you guys have the next Joe Sakic right there for you or another crosby/stamkos on your hands, so jealous
