Pretty hard to find fault in this game...the boys played a back to back after travelling the previous night, and beat the team with the 6th best record in the league, in their own barn. The shots were misleading in this one because the leafs outright dominated a big chunk of this game but slacked in the 3rd |

you're so naive... - Pecafan Fan
no, you are.
these guys still have NHL jobs. that alone means the anti fighter opinion is incorrect when it comes to the actual guys who pick the teams. |

How exactly was I being childish?
You asked me to make my point...I thought it was pretty clear what my point was.
BTW...I love toughness in hockey. Love fighting. But most of today's fighters have to be able to contribute in other aspects of the game. Orr cannot.
Guys like Neil and Thorton don't kill you when they are on the ice. - stormeyAlterEgo
Same here.
The goons are a dying breed. That doesn't mean you have to take fighting out of the game, you have to take guys that can only fight, out of the game.
That's a big difference between the 2. |

so, do all of you RC haters still wish that we had the unproven eakins behind the bench? he can't even make the playoffs with 10 top 5 picks in the lineup.
Does yakupoop even play anymore?
What a fuqing joke
edit: Mike, nice alliteration - Skalapy
Image how good Edmonton would be if they drafted Seguin instead of Hall, then Landeskog instead of RNH, and Ryan Murray instead of Yakupov. |

Lol, Rask is a basketcase. I don't think anyone would be eager to run him over. - sanfordnson
If he wasn't injured on the play. First time for Lucic - no one on Buffalo to do anything about it, but if Lucic were to do it again, there would be mayhem and I don't think Lucic would risk going there again. |

to answer your question you kept quoting my muddying the waters comment like a pouting child.
I think Orr's time is at an end.. but not because of his role but his age. |

If you were starting a team, which young core would you prefer?
Duchene
2009 #3
McKinnon
2013 #1
Landeskog
2011 #2
O'Reilly
2009 #33
Barrie
2009 #64
OR
Hall
2010 #1
Nugent-Hopkins
2011 #1
Yakupov
2012 #1
Eberle
2008 #22
Nurse
2013 #7 - 1979AD
The avs... Landeskog is a more complete player than Hall, Duchene is the best of the lot, Mackinnon makes Yak look like a joke, altough Eberle has a slight edge over O'Rielly. Nurse will prob be better than Barrie.
JVR #2, Kessel #5, Rielly #5, Kadri #7, and Bernier #11 is a pretty decent young core as well |

Well in my defense I thought this..
scott's job is to protect miller
stop trying to muddy the waters .. stay on topic
sorry if you cant make your point doing so
was pretty condecending when I thought my point was very clear.
anyway....I'll go elsewhere for a bit....and try to talk hockey without the threat of bannishment. Where I go...it just happens naturally. |

I honestly don't think Lucic would give a poop. he hits Miller. Scott says "hey come here". Chara says, "No john. You don't want to do that." |

Ryan Murray is better than Yakupov.

no... as indicated by the comment that directly followed if you cared to read further...
but considering there isn't a tree outside hanging full of orr's, mclaren's, clifford's and greene's... teams will employ what is available to them. |

Chris Neil is in double digits minus every year...Orr is a whopping -5 for the leafs through 5 seasons..not to mention Orr makes less than 1/2 Neils salary |

Seguin was drafted a different year than RNH.
No, he isn't.
It's their 2nd year and they play different positions.
You're still an idiot. This is the last little bit of attention I give you. |
