It's tough to argue that Marino's 1984 isn't the best season ever for a pro QB, but other than that there's little about his game that should make him 3rd all time above some of the other guys listed.

I guess what I ought to say is that you'd have a great argument that it is, but obviously it's not open an shut.

I'm not a huge Marino fan though personally. I know championships shouldn't count for everything, but the truth is I don't see Marino as having the consistency that a lot of those other guys had.

Gronk's back/forearm were a concern, but that looked to be behind him. But I don't care who you are, anyone's leg would have snapped in two from that hit by Ward That had nothing to do with being made of porcelain
