He certainly did himself no favors in the shootout. He got lit up like a pinball machine.
- PLindbergh31

if not for Emery they would have lost this in regulation.

Except for the break aways he stopped today.
I have no issue with how Emery played in the shootout, I didn't think any of Islanders goals were cheap.

- opeth_pa

None of them were cheap, but I just don't like his positioning in net. Their breakaway goals just seemed too easy. Like Emery was beat as soon as the puck came off the stick.

totally different scenario... point is though it should've never even gone into OT if this team does what any good team should be able to do.

Absolutely agree. They played horribly in front of him

That penalty call was terribly crippling at the end of the 3rd. Just took the wind out of us.

Neither of these can be good...

Flyers only say an upper-body injury for Voracek and will be evaluated when the team gets back to town tonight.

Tim Panaccio @tpanotchCSN
Voracek hand to be re-evaluated

I have to guess at least one thing is broken in his hand ..

Trapped at work. Saw they were up 3-1 after two. Just saw the final score.

What happened?

Maybe it'll keep him out of the Olympics. Hopefully.

Man I hope not because that means he is out for a few weeks...

More time to heal. Less risk of re-injury, or any other kind of injury for that matter. Back with the Flyers in good shape.

How about we hope it's just a bad bruise and he's out for a couple of games max?

Downie is the one who needs a month off. He has totally fallen apart.

Coburn served a fighting major, and Timonen left in the third period for a time with either an injury or a skate issue, how did they both play 4 and half more minutes than L. Schenn?

50 games into the season, L. Schenn is still the 6th dman.

Agreed!

I liked him alot at first, but tonight, and other nights lately, he has gone absolutely mental. VL also had a terrible night tonight. I would have liked to see Raffl in the SO as well.

I don't like the standing either. Both CBJ and NYR are tearing it up. I could see philly ending up in the scrum for the wild card spot.

And no call on the two handed hack on his hand. But let's hand out powerplays to the Isles like candy.

Well, I sincerely don't want him seriously injured, but if no Flyers went to the Olympics I'd be very happy.

the Isles out-worked the Flyers by such a large margin in the 3rd that they deserved every PP they got.

Wonder what the first line is going to look like. Raffl-G-Read? Or maybe it is finally time to get VL back up there?

Berube has got his work cut out for him. But priority numero uno has got to be to reduce these penalties, especially the prime time Downiesque ones.

Edit: on second thought I don't know if Read does LW.

Editedit: Read does LW all the time, does he do RW?
