First off - it's not going to happen! I understand that, just feel they need a goalie for the future and Tampa wouldn't trade Bishop. But a similar type of trade for young upcoming talent. We have enough picks.
But the Sabres need a trade like this:
Miller, 2 2nd's + (maybe the Isles pick)
for
Bishop & Drouin
Ummmmmmmmmmm, youre right. It's not gonna happen.

You won't hear any of the experts question him. |

Apparently USA Hockey did before this season when Miller started playing above his head again. |

To be fair the US has the deepest goaltending of any country by a mile. |

It's easy to glance at Miller's stats and think he's been declining since his Vezina season...
I think a Goalies stay line will of course decline when he has a team in front of him that's getting worse year after year
He may not have been at his Vezina level,
But he's always been a very good goalie |

It's gotta be that...
Otherwise, it's crazy they'd take Lehtonen over him |

He's been out since October.
Just started weight bearing exercises.
Pekka Rinne (hip) can start to do weight-bearing exercises.

It's a slow Sunday night in here
My dream trades for the Sabres....
Two 1sts, a 2nd and a prospect is prob way too much for Milller
How about Miller to StL for two prospects (Jaskin & Allen) and a conditional 2015 1st if Miller either re-signs there, or they make it to the Cup
We can also throw in Tallinder if we can make the cap work. I'm sure they wouldn't mind the extra defensive depth
Moulson and a 2014 2nd to LA for Toffoli & a 2015 1st
Ott to whoever for a 1st, best offer gets him
And since I have a big man crush on O'Reilly...
Ehrhoff + Ennis for him (but they can certainly have Stafford if they'd prefer)
If its Ennis, maybe we get them to throw in a pick as well
Does that seem like a lot to give up for him?
It prob is, but there will be no shortage of bidders if the AVs make him avail
O well...
That's me dreaming anyways

Miller does not make St Louis better. Better goal scoring does.
Point wise, three defensemen are in their top ten. And that includes Roy.
They don't score goals. |

Well presumably they wouldn't need to score as much to win with Miller
But you do have a point |

GReat night last night . suprise party at Kyoto and then bar fight at Devlins - cabin
Sounds like the good ol' fashioned days of honest rumbles between us 'west side boys' vs. 'riverside boys'.
Always a good cardio to be had for all at those.
Winter rumbles were the best doing shots of Rumple Minze creeping in the party van. |

Lol...anyone else think its funny Oliers fans think Myers can be easily had?. - feetontheair22
Myers can be had for the right price just like anyone on this roster that isn't named Zemgus Girgesnsons.
Zemgus is the only untouchable on this current roster. |

This is what turns my stomach about football players.
This guys acts the complete fool.
I wanted to punch this idiot in his face after his caveman like explosion into Erin Andrews microphone after the game.
This is why I prefer hockey players. |

Both are untouchable. How often does a 6' 8" dman come around that can skate like that, oh, and score? There would be a lynching if they traded Myers. Will not happen at this time. Forget the past. He grew up this year.
