IMO Ladd is a great guy to have on a Cup contending team as he can play multiply roles but I don't think he's a guy you can build around. It seems like Myers gets it now and he could be scary in a year or so if that trend continues. If he was on a team like STL right now, look out.

Sabres cant trade Ehrhoff. They could be facing a $10M cap penalty if he doesnt finish his contract on another team. Cant take that risk.

I dont think being an NFL player makes you exempt from being a scumbag. Hes just a high profile scumbag. Rape, assault, robbery happens every second. To not expect guys from troubled/poor/misused backgrounds to not behave in these ways isn't surprising.
