Exactly.
He was traded for JvR.
Leafs fans (extremely overvaluing assets as always) cried about getting ripped off.
JvR outperformed Schenn, and now it's a brilliant trade.

I googled the HB comment board from the JVR/Schenn trade. It looks like the vast majority of Leaf fans thought it was either a good deal for the Leafs, or a swap of two young players that fall short of their potential.
