If Edmonton wants to get better, they need to make some serious moves.

I would love to see them go after one of the big two in Phoenix, Ekman-Larsson or Yandle (preferrably)

Trading Eberle for one of them and maybe minor pieces or picks to balance it out (and cap wise for Phoenix) might work.

I'd then go after Couturier and a D or both Schenns in Philly and use Yaks as the key piece in that deal. One of them will be expendable as Giroux and Lecavalier have the top two C positions locked up and adding a winger like Yaks will definitely make Holmgren think about it.
If you could pull of those two trades, and then start looking for a Goalie, the team will significantly change.
