best concert i have been to (besides roger waters performing the wall which is more of a theatre production than a concert) was neil young at the JLC. standing floor.. and Young insisted the cheapest tickets be the floor.. had the most enthusiastic front of stage crowd i have ever seen.. i made it up to the 2nd row for the major part of the show.. and young went for 3 hours.

great show.. highly recommend him.. not many bring what he does to the table anymore.

playing in a bar band since i was 15. it still amazes me that when we go in there to set up at say.. 7.. (this is for pubs and taverns) there will be a handful of people who have been there for four hours or so already.

then they are still there at last call during which they order 6 damn drinks.

and there they are, at 3am, after tear down is complete.. finishing up their drinks
