Just doing some quick math here, and even if the Flames continue playing at the god-awful pace they have been trolling at .... the Oilers would basically have to play at least .500 hockey from here on in, just to pass Calgary.

Rebuild extraordinaire.

I didn't read half you re poopty blog MATT or any comments but I looked at your title and you should have a little respect when his numbers were out of this world in the last two years with this poopty team u cant even say something good about the guy further proves the point no1 wants to come here. Learn some respect instead of going with the grain yes dub had a bad season but kicking a guy when he is down is gut less. Sure he gave in like the rest of the oilers but every1 has giving in and has been given so much time. We would be lucky to have RC back, he may have changed opinions but he didn't give in like a little school girl. You re writing for the idiots on here and not what is true. My title 4 u is inverted lips a wet blog by Matt Henderson for the boys. You re like the slutty school girl that likes 5 guys at the house party but instead of picking 1 you made every1 happy. You need to learn what the oilers do, respect. Cause you have non. Good luck Dub and best wishes in the future which u deserve to bad like Smid u had to take the fall.

This article and my take are not going with the grain. They are firmly against the grain. Most people's 1st instincts are to wax poetic about the outgoing player. If you had logged into twitter for 2 hours after the trade you probably wouldn't have seen a single other Oiler blogger mention how terrible Dubnyk has been.

Has he done good things? Yes, but his 2012-2013 season is as useful to the Oilers today as Hasek's 1998 Season is as useful to the Sabres. It isn't. His performance in October meant the Oilers knew they were out of the playoffs before Halloween. I'm not going to sugar coat the fact that he let down the Oilers in an unprecedented way. Tommy Salo in his darkest days wasn't as bad as Dubnyk.

I've been driving this view of Dubnyk for almost the entire season. Show me where I gave in? If anything this trade is validation for the conviction with which I wrote about the status of Dubnyk.

I'm sorry you didn't read half of my poopty blog, I think you probably should. And when you're done go out and read all of the other posts on the internet that don't have the stones to say it the way it really was.

Chicago, St Louis and Anaheim each have only 8 regulation losses this season.

Oilers suffered their 8th regulation loss on October 26th.

And I'm not trolling here. Oilers are my team.

The title of your blog was weak though. Like Iggysbf said, very Cloutier like, and after all we have been through on this site, we expect better. If that is truly the best you can do,then fine, we should lower our expectations.

I wont ever pretend to have sources when I'm just spitballing ideas, but I cant promise a completely uncontroversial opinion or presentation.

Klesla just got waived. Would cost us $750K I believe on an expiring contract. Worth a pick up?

No it implies that you are inviting trolls to your thread by being controversial. It's no difference than anything Clouts or Vince McMahon wouldn't do. Do what you want, though, I'll still visit the thread, regardless of the blog.

It's audition time in Edmonton. Pair him with J Schultz or Petry since he shoots left.

Ya true. Better to keep the rookie with our best all around Dman.

And if you look at the advanced stats, those two work the best together. Put Rusty with Jultz. And Belov with Nultz.

Move him to 4RW? LOL. I knew there was somebody missing. Ok, Belov/Nultz can split time in the presser.
