My point is that Kadri is not that much better than Gags and vice versa. Something tells me that statement is offensive to Leafs fans.

I think Kadri has a higher ceiling...if the leafs move him they would want someone with a little more potential that Gagner...not that he doesn't have any, just saying.

It's kind of irrelevant as I don't really think Kadri is the guy we need. I would rather try and swing a deal for Anisimov, Zajac, Dubinski, ...or on the low end Ruutu.

I really think Hemsky would flourish with the Pens... He like Gags - need change of scenery... Gags I can see either being swapped out with Kadri or shipped to New Jersey or Nashville...

Anaheim looking to upgrade their D. Doubt they move those guys unless its in a cap deal type thing or in a move for D. Word is they are going hard for Girardi. Some of those guys would likely go the other way.

Stat line could probably improve with our wingers, injuries will probably continue as an Oiler....just the way she goes.

Sorry Morris I don't think that gonna be good at all. Greening on the top line? He cant find a fit in Ottawa. He is big but doesn't use his size at all and is terrible on the boards. And if I were going after a guy for 2C from Columbus it would be Duby over Anisimov.

Greening is one of those guys that's played up and down the lineup in Ottawa and maybe he just needs a change of scenery. He's certainly big and fast, which could be a homerun compliment to those skill guys, or it could be trash.

As far as Anisimov goes, I too think Dubinsky is better, but would cost more and is more untouchable in Columbus. I think he's a more easily acquired option, and with a management that doesn't seem keen to make huge moves just yet, easy is key.

In general though, we haven't had the same coach/system/roster long enough for true chemistry to form among a lot of these guys. I think working on getting a set of 9 guys of varied skillsets and seeing what works is what's necessary. Obviously Hall, Perron, Yakupov are much more talented than Greening but some times there's no accounting for when players click.
