Anisimov is the only player there under contract. I'm sure we could put something together involving players that aren't top 6 forwards

We don't have a 2nd or 3rd (yet) in the upcoming draft, we do have a 4th from SJ but not our own.

Well, no bold move yet, and there may not be one. Morrison on Sportsnet today said that the word around the league is that the Oiler management is over-valuing its players, making it difficult to get a significant trade done. Spector complained that the Oilers don't have the right blend of players (surprise) and that the kids don't have the support of other types of players who can help them compete. So, with the combined overvaluation and not much help in the near future in the organization, prospects are bleak for improvement. Signing UFAs can help, if they can be convinced to go to Edm, but really they have to trade some of the kids to get much needed pieces to add size and D.

all depends on when gaborik will be back if edm were to offer cbj hemsky. edm does not have a 3rd or 2nd, i doubt cbj wants 2015 picks. they will want this year's pick considering edm's current draft positioning.
