he might, but he also seems to play with emotion ... which might help him with the fans. Philly loves guys who seem to care, even if they f*ck things up from time to time.
- FlyerGuy
I don't think Buff falls into that category. He was just moved to wing. Teams don't move top pairing defenseman to wing. |

He is now playing forward in Winnipeg.
I was one of those in favour of bringing him in if the price is right. I don't see that price being low enough for what I have seen. He is so (frank)ing inconsistent, in the most basic levels of effort. I'd put the thong on tight, zip it up, and run fast. |

Grossmann has a longer leash because of his track record. He's been consistent throughout his career. There is reason to believe he will bounce back quickly and won't need a benching to do so. |

The problem is, that's not the case.
He's been as bad as Meszaros or Schenn. But Berube chooses to play Grossmann over them.
It's one of my biggest complaints. Some guys get held accountable. Others, do not. - Jsaquella
In his time with the Flyers, imo Grossmann has been a hell of a lot more reliable than Luke Schenn or Meszaros.

I think I may have something to do with it. |

Have you ever seen Face Off? He plays himself, and then John Travolta as himself. One of the best performances of all time. |

That cross ice pass at his own blue line by Voracek at the end of the 2nd was even worse than the suicide pinch by Grossmann at the end of the 1st that led to a Sabres 2-on-1 and the puck clanging off the post.
Quit trying to give the game away, guys. |

They need the scoring up front. It's foolish, IMO, because Byfuglien has been their best defenseman, along with Enstrom.
But they are desperate. GM's and coaches are not always right. John LeClair was playing 3rd line center for the Habs when the Flyers traded for him. Ottawa decided to keep Redden over Chara. |
