When it comes to Ashton, I think we have to stop looking at him from the point of view of last year's and the year before production. He's having a great AHL season, and is 22 years old. He had no business being up the two previous season, but this season he hasn't looked bad at all. He hasn't looked great, but the way we rip into him, you guys make it sound like he's a 25 year old piece of crap.

I hope Holland gets 14-15 minutes tonight.

Why can't we have a kid line for our 4th line when Bolland comes back.....

Brown continued to produce when McDavid went to the world juniors.....he's a solid OHL scorer. Who knows, maybe he's the next Kyle Wellwood.

Gotta give some credit to Brown tho eh? Seems like a solid player. He's a light weight tho.

yea, definitely not the same situation as Kane, but crazy offensive numbers are always promising.

Brown plays on the first line with Fox at centre.... McDavid plays on the 2nd line... they're not even linemates.

Either way, 6th round draft pick. Leafs have been terrible in drafting for years!.. hopefully this could help a little. even if he could become a 2nd line scorer. it would still be an incredible pick!
