One of my coworkers is originally from Brazil, their McDonalds don't have the same breakfast meals as they do here. He has become addicted to the Egg McMuffin, and has it for breakfast almost every day. I am not his doctor, but he seems to be in pretty good health despite our fairly constant consternation.
- vermie22

that is manageable so long as the rest of his meals are healthy and he works out

i guess my point is i just wish mcdonalds would just be honest with their marketing

diet is only one part of it, and an egg mcmuffin isn't the worst thing in the world for you... at least McD's uses real eggs.

Went to Booster Juice for breakfast a little while back, got a unbeetable juice- beets and strawberry- sounds nasty, but it's pretty good, and makes you feel more energized than a coffee(that's the raw beets)... but I also went with an egg scrambler.

While I was waiting, I saw the nutrition chart there. (frank)ing 500+ calories for that egg wrap, and those were not real eggs.

now you have to be careful with a comment like that - "people" may take it that you're praising Bozak for his contributions (no matter how minimal they are).

Studies have shown that the plastic bags used to encase the apples are not thick enough thus allowing too much air passage. McDonalds felt it was a way to ensure they didnt have older apples sitting around as they would brown after too long.

Well, these recent studies also concluded that the grease particles per cubic feet in McDonalds, at any given time, is strong enough to penetrate said plastic thus making the apples, greasy and unhealthy.

Couldnt make this up.

- Colin Dambrauskas

I dont believe studies.

facts hurt my head....unless they help support my argument.

Well...I too was not his biggest fan....and I still dont believe he is a legit #1 center, however, I did concede several blogs ago, that I do like how he has played and what he has done since his return.

heresy!

you should have to forfeit your "holi refereeness" immediately - 24 hour ban... and you have simultaneously post a note readable by all indicating the depth of your remorse "for ever thinking less of the Bozmeister".

I don't mind McDonalds pretending to be healthy... because it actually makes them a bit more accountable, and winds up making the food healthier over time.

If all else fails, make up a study!

**

After putting together a 4th year Economics presentation at Georgia University, Paul Grinson found that his studies were directed related to headaches which he often suffered. With the help of three doctoral students and one professor of medicine, Grinson was able to effectively prove that the combination of putting several facts to paper causes synaptic misfiring in the average adult males brain which directly causes headaches.

As a result, the study concluded that all males should have a female partner when conducting late night presentations/studies.

you have to admit that Sutter is a gamer... no question - his team which certainly doesn't have that reputation "out weenies" the "weenies" themselves. excellent way to neutralize the Canucks only possible advantage - PP.

on that theme, Carlyle should employ both Orr and McLaren against the Bruins, go back to the playoff model and have them consistently chase Chara and pick one other slower moving playing and hit them mercilessly each and every shift. Out Bruin the Bruins.
